Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office — High Point Community Policing Team
The High Point Neighborhood Family Center (HPNFC) is proud to partner with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office through a dedicated Community Policing Team assigned to the High Point neighborhood. These deputies play a critical role in strengthening relationships, supporting youth, and fostering a safer, more connected community. Their presence, mentorship, and commitment to service are essential to the success of HPNFC’s programs and the well-being of the families we serve.
Deputy Anthony Borbonio
Community Policing Deputy, High Point neighborhood
In September 2026, Deputy Borbonio was one of the recipients of JWB’s KidsFirst Cooperman-Bogue Awards.
Deputy Anthony Borbonio graduated from North Fort Myers High School in 2007 and spent six years running his own landscaping business before pursuing a career in law enforcement. He has served with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for eight years and is currently in his first year as a Community Policing Deputy assigned to the High Point neighborhood.
Deputy Borbonio is committed to building strong, positive relationships between residents and the Sheriff’s Office. He values the opportunity to connect with families, support neighborhood initiatives, and serve as a trusted presence for youth. A proud father of three, he also mentors young male students in the High Point Neighborhood Family Center after-school program, offering guidance, encouragement, and a positive role model for boys navigating critical stages of development.
